A Feint

He said are you in for it?
She smiled and said yes.
You know the consequence right?
Yeah.
There's no coming back from this point.
I trust you.
Love you.
Love you too.
And they jumped.
From a height of 143 feet.
Headed straight towards the ground.
They got the biggest adrenaline gush of their life.
Bungee jumping was awesome!
She was thrilled. She screamed her lungs out.
He held on to her, tightly.
And then the stop never happened.
There was no snap, no pull, no recoil.
They headed straight towards the ground without anything to hold them back.
Life flashed before her eyes.
And they landed.
Smashed against the earth.
Shattered bones, blood and two deformed bodies lay on the ground. And their lay the swiss knife he had held in his hand to cut the last bit of the rope that he had already sawed into.
It had been a long month trying to preserve the secret.
The secret that she had been diagnosed for the last stage of cancer.

Looks like you are a lot into melodramatic love.

You are kind of a saddist bcos your stories involve the guy suffering for no fault of his.

You should proabably think of writing stories where in after the woman/man passes away for whatever reason that he/she does, the guy/woman quickly recuperates and moves on in life to become somebody great but always treasuring the memories of the deceased

What matters in life is not the fall, but how quickly you recover from it!.

Diablo!
